How to take Vitamin C Lipo-Sachets®
Why is vitamin C important?
The human body can’t produce its own vitamin C3 and must get it from food and/or supplements. Not only that, the human body eliminates unused vitamin C, making it difficult to maintain normal concentrations for long periods of time4. To maintain adequate levels, it’s essential to take vitamin C regularly, and in a highly absorbable form.

Who should take Vitamin C?
Almost everyone can benefit from taking vitamin C, but especially if you:
- Have a compromised immune system
- Are feeling the symptoms of common colds and flu
- Are feeling ‘run down’, tired or stressed
- Have a pre-existing condition for which vitamin C is recommended as a complementary therapy
- Are travelling or have just travelled
- Lead a very active lifestyle or undertake strenuous exercise
- Smoke and/or consume high levels of alcohol
- Live in the city (due to environmental pollutants and toxins)
Vitamin C supports normal skin condition
Vitamin C protects cells against oxidative stress.
One of the factors damaging both the dermis and epidermis cells, as well as contributing to their degeneration, is oxidative stress. Oxidation stress is the imbalance between oxidants and antioxidants in favour of the oxidants, potentially leading to damage. The action of free radicals may interfere with the growth of tissues, change the metabolism and functioning of cells, destroy lipid and protein structures. The effect of their action on the skin is reducing its elasticity and weakening its defence mechanisms, which accelerates the aging process.
The causes of oxidative stress for the skin may include: excessive exposure to UV rays, stimulants (e.g. cigarettes, alcohol), chronic medicines used, or psychological stress.
When to use:
- In people over 26, when there is a physiological decline in the production of collagen, which is manifested by the loss of skin density and elasticity, intensifying over the years.
- During menopause, when the decrease in oestrogen levels impacts collagen synthesis and undesirable changes in its properties. Menopause can also increase the activity of collagen-degrading enzymes.
- After anti-aging treatments (e.g. mesotherapy, RF, laser therapy) – as a supporter of collagen production, and the health of the epidermis
- As an aid in protecting the skin against oxidative stress, e.g. in the period of excessive exposure to the sun rays, which can lead, among others to skin discolouration.
